Report to the Marketing Director, the ideal candidate will possess a B.Sc. Degree (2nd Class lower) or HND (upper credit) in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Insurance or any other Social Sciences ; A professional qualification such as ACII, FCII is a must; Possession of an MBA is an advantage; Minimum of 15 years cognate experience; Must be computer literate; Proven ability to work with people; Excellent marketing and product development skills; Ability to interface with decision makers at the highest level for business contact is very essential for this position.
Job description / Responsibilities
The successful candidate will occupy Senior Management Position and would be responsible for:
- Designing and implementation of annual marketing plans to enhance profitability;
- Supervising and motivating the marketing team to meet set business targets
- Formulating and overseeing the implementation of the various marketing strategies of the company
- Developing effective marketing and business development strategies for the company’s range of products and services
- Effective management of marketing and customer relationship functions of the company
- Ensuring excellent customer services by identifying customer needs/preferences
- Driving sustainable and profitable growth by optimizing marketing effort of existing products and develop new products
- Marketing and promoting the sale of all brands of the company products and services
