Celtel is recruiting a System Analyst in the Technical & Network Group and within the IT Billing Department.
Candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or any related discipline from a reputable university and have a minimum of 2 years post NYSC relevant experience.
The System Analyst will work closely with the internal customers / users and vendors to ensure that the deployed mission critical solution provide the required business benefits through the adoption and implementation of best practice in systems management and operation with world class user support capability.
Respnsibilities
* The System Analyst will be directly responsible for the support of major applications that compliments billing system thereby ensuring that the system is available at all time without compromising quality and standard;
* Spearhead user request activities to improve capabilities of fraud and revenue management functions. Where scripting is required, perform ad hoc scripting, data processing and formatting to support fraud and revenue management activities;
* Develop and implement a separate Business Continuity Plan, guiding procedures and policies for the immediate, medium and long term, for all the systems and services, which will ensure that, any incident of system non-availability will have the minimum impact on the business;
* Manage all escalated issues as it affect application downtime and monitor application performance for high availability
