Candidates must be graduates of reputable universities/polytechnics in Nigeria or overseas; must have concluded the mandatory National Youth Service Corps Program (NYSC); should have a mininmum class of degree of Second Class Upper/HND Upper Credit and maximum age 26 years.
The Bank’s entry-level training programme, known as the Graduate Development Programme, with its emphasis on classroom based learning and on-the job training, is one of the most sought after programmes in the Nigerian banking industry.
Deadline for application is May 6th 2008.

when applying, never use years in the column for years of exprience of any other region that require number of years. kind state the number of years and your submittion will be successful.

It’s wonderful to know that FCMB is recruitng for their entry-level training programme, known as the Graduate Development Programme. But i feel disappointed for not being able to complete the online application which i’ve been on for the past 3 hours. An error page with the message “Error Occurred While Processing Request” kept reoccuring even as I continued making effort to reload the page. FCMB please do something about this page. Thanks.

THE PROBLM WITH THE BANK’S WEBSITE IS THAT THE SECURITY CERTIFICATE ISSUED IT FOR THE HOISTING OF THE BANK’S WEBSITE HAS EXPIRED. IT HAD A VALIDITY OF 13/03/2006-13/03/2008, THUS MAKING THE SITE LOOK FRAUDULENT/NOT SECURED WHEN VISITED.
HOWEVER, I WOULD ADVICE ANYONE TO CONTINUE WITH THE SITE AND SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATION.
HOWEVER, THIS DOESNT PUT THE BANK IN A GOOD LIGHT, AS FOREIGNERS/PEOPLE ABROAD WOULD BELIEVE THAT THE WEBSITE IS FRAUDULENT AND MIGHT NOT WANNA DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THE BANK. THIS WOULD DEFINITELY RESULT IN LOSS OF INCOME, REVENUE AND A BAD IMAGE FOR A BANK AS BIG AS FCMB.
ON A LIGHTER NOTE, I WAS ABLE TO SUBMIT MY APPLICATION SUCCESSFULLY!!! WISHING OTHERS LUCK IN DOING SO………….CHEERS.

I want to thank the Chairman/Chief Executive as well as the management of FCMB for their vision and mission. I equally want to express my heartfelt appreciation exclusively to the Balogun family for accommodating whoever that comes around them. We know your Bank will go miles. You really understood the plight of young graduates who are wallowing in joblessness. You did not bother your selection progamme on paper qualification. You did understand that B.Sc = HND. By this, we are not suprised your staff personnel are among the most proficient and competent Nigeria financial sector can boast of. The likes of Oceanic bank, Intercontinental, Stanbic IBTC, First bank etc are among those that rank equal with your FCMB. Remove these mentioned banks today, Nigeria has no banks. Simple reason is just vision and mission without discrimination. A lesson for other banks and companies that are still discriminating against HND.Cheers!

Thanks for this great opportunity for us graduates. But what about us that are more than 26yrs? Does it mean we cant apply? I also want to request that FCMB should give an opportunity to most of us that have lower credit. Because there are some of us that have banking experience and should be considered

I have 3 years experience in Banking(Skye Bank)and I have HND lower credit plus MBA(Marketing),and a Graduate Professional qualification in Personnel Management(CIPM)but I am 30 years.Can I apply?

Since this is an everybody compliant, i am beginning to have this fear that i could be a delibrate action for special reasons unknown to the general populace, but in anycase thanks to the management of FCMB for their human consideration in xpressing the good hope of the polytechnic graduates. meanwhile pls fix up the problem of the website denier thanks.
I have tried all the suggested way to get my cv posted but it was not working.I am sure your web designer has so much to answer,he also has to prove the money that he is paid as many nigerian graduates are denied that right to submit their cv,that boils down that you are not exposed to the best of the best.i pray this can be addressed.am sorry that you are missing a qualified hands like mine and some other wonderful Nigerian.just ‘cos your web designer cannot justify his pay.Please which other way can we use to submit?

This is wonderfully encouraging. At least glory be to God for FCMB, Intercontinental bank, Oceanic bank, Stanbic bank and all other such banks that never allow themselves to be an object of discrimination in our society. I was able to submit my application at a simple click and I must express my sincere appreciation to Otunba Balogun and all the FCMB family for giving hope to HND graduates and this, I must say, is making me to smile again. Some banks are pretty not worth their name because of their unjustified and despicable art of discrimination because this surely will never make them grow. I hope I’ll be considered, thanks!
