• Landscape Architect

• Facilities and Equipment Manager

1. Landscape Architect

Will be responsible for managing and execution of all phases of the planning for design – build project.

Essential Job Functions

• Creating plans and designs, preparing models and cost estimates for each “site development project”.
• Communicating with customers, subcontractors, vendors and employees and attending project related meetings.
• Working with clients to ensure that changes are captured, plans are updated and that working deigns are available for install teams.
• Inspection work for conformance with approved plans, specifications and standards including – grading, irrigation systems, waterlines, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, turf, landscape materials, trees and shrubs.

Employment Requirements /Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in a Landscape Architecture firm or Landscape installation specialty contractor. Bachelor’s degree Architecture or Landscape Architecture. Experience in project management will be an added advantage.

Skills/Ability

Proficient with software programs including MS Office suite (word Excel and outlook), Corel, 3D and AutoCAD softwares. Significant horticultural knowledge including experience with plant lists. Strong work ethic, effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and multi task in a fast paced environment and customer service experience.

2. Facilities Manager

Organizes, documents and manages the overall maintenance, repairs and physical operation of Arabella Landscape facilities.

Essential Job Functions

• Plans, directs and through subordinates, supervises facility management services including building and facility operating systems maintenance, repair and improvement.
• Responsible for general office equipment maintenance i.e. copiers, fax machines, telephones etc.
• Act as a liaison with the property-owner for maintenance and compliance issues.
• Handles internal office and field repairs, security systems, and the logistics unit.
• Oversees the implementation of environmental, health and safety policies, recommends operating methods and equipment to maximize cost savings, service quality and safety.

Employment Requirements /Qualifications:
Four years cognate experience in facilities maintenance, supervision and operations experience in the construction industry; HSE knowledge and experience, Certified Facility IFMA member, possess of a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

Skills/Ability

Must posses a strong facilities management experience, exceptional organizational, oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of critical building systems, electrical, plumbing and security systems.
