y just the experienced? don’t u think dat fresh graduates have better things to offer in this our modernised world?
I appreciate first bank for deciding to recruit workers. The truth is that first bank has to grow from where it is now to a better place in the banking industry, therefore they need experienced and fresh graduate because most of the innovation in banking sector are from fresh graduate. I believe that fresh graduate as a larger row to play in making first bank achieved the desire dreams.
Please consider fresh graduate in your list
I glory in First Bank. I wish the bank management would include freshers to reap this opportunity. Though, it might be as if such a decision would add extra costs of training but the benefits thereon is invaluable. Lets ponder over it.
Big kudoos to first Bank. I wish the management will reconsider fresh graduate because they are agile and strong to put in their best services to the customers. And theere are many of with second class upper in bankiing and Finance who wants to add to the value of banking if given the opportunity.
l love to belong to winning team, first bank is always first.please consider my application to join the first team.
its good to always give chances for the freshers too………… so, i think employers should always think about this. First bank should allow the freshers to prove their worth too

I `ve been submitting my cv to fbn for long without result, i `ope this will work out this time.
Why is it that ur bank dont seek for engineers?
It’s rather unfortunate reading comments like’ First Bank should coonsider fresh graduates’. Fresh graduates or rookies should realize that just like in sports, you can’t buy experience. First Bank has a recruitment programme for entry level graduates which is known all over the world. Every jobs has its own specific requirements which candidates has to meet. you’ve to wait for your time. Didier Drogba and Yaro Yaro and not the same
Uma, that was really an unfair Comment from you. It is true that “Yaro Yaro and Drogba are not in the same league”, when it comes to class in football field.
It would have sounded nice if you just wish them well or maybe advice them on what to do, because this is Nigeria and things are kinda different. I know in the UK where your addy reflects, it is very much different applying for jobs. The time and energy you put into UK job applications if made use of in Nigeria would land most graduates numerous PLUMP and JUICY jobs.
So my dear, if you are at advantage, kindly use this medium to educate our fellow countrymen/women, using this medium constructively, rather than mocking others for their opinions. Not minding how funny or stupid they sound to your hearing!!!!
First Bank has always been the biggest employer of labour in Nigeria. I have HND in accounting. I have been working with Celtel Nigeril for over one you in Sales and Marketing. I fill am not in the right section. Hope you will give me an opportunity to work with you. Thanks.
First Bank is where I would want to be if given the golden opportunity. Having spent one year NYSC in the then All States Bank in Port Harcourt, I believe I can handle any position with little supervision if considered. Thanks alot for the consideration.
I believe, with my experience as a system analyst and Database Designer, If given any position in First Bank Plc, I will put all my best. Thanks for the great opportunity.
Please,consider my application letter.
Thanks.
l wish to letting u know in spite of ur ceaseless efforts often put forward to relief this nation of deteriorating unemployment scenerio, that antithesis is most time the consequence in that adequate consideration is not given to fresh graduate(s). ln other words, the appointment often revolve around/round status quo .i.e same cycle. One can only be experienced if one is given the opportunity to actualise/discharge one’s potentials. Thanks.
I BELIVE FIRSTBANK WILL BE ABLE TO EMPLOY ABLE NIGERINS WHO ARE READY TO USE ALL THEIR TALENTS FOR THE GROWTH OF THE ORGANISATION
there’s no need for all of this talk. First Bank has decided on whom and what they want.God help us.
Though you are first you still need to be first.
Elephant bank bank keep it up in giving the nigerian graguate job opportunity.
Goodday All,
This is no doubt about it that First Bank is a foremost bank in Nigeria. The bank is well known both at home and in abroad, and is rich in history of clients service, having been existing many decades.
The facts that first bank is a foremost bank and portray the outlook of banking system in Nigeria give it an hedge over the new generation banks. On a contrary, The bank still has a long to go “even” to be at par with the new generation banks in Nigeria who are relatively doing well in the banking services. First bank is full of junk and inexperienced employees who don`t know the rudiment of banking practice talkless of modest practices in the banking industry.
The bank has the potential being financially strong and the goodwill it enjoys but the focus, innovation and initiation are completely out of their missions and visions.
u are global bank just keet it up
why not consider the direct marketers first. those kids has been jobless since u told them to stopwork. why not give them a chance i believe they already ve expirence.
The handled the ATM very good
I have filled experienced hirers application form before now and was given an ID no 34317, but up till now I have not heard from you First Bank. What is really happening? I desire to make a career in First Bank.
Thanks.
Fresh or EXperienced hires, they both have in their own unique way have something to offer to not just First Bank but any forward looking 21st century organisation that wants to stay competitive in their sphere of business. Whether its the open-mindedness or innovative character of the fresh graduates or the mature i”f it works, why change it” nature of the experienced hire, it all depends on what they company wants to get out of her staff. These would need to be aligned to some sort of business goal or objective.
why are organisations always asking for experienced people whenever they want to recruit? what will be the fate of the fresh graduates?
My greatest desire ever in my career is to be a successful banker and to achieve it throught First bank. I have a soft spot for the bank. each time I applied I always missed the test . I still desire to be invited for a test. I am a graduate of Mathematics/Computer Science.
Thanks
Ogbole Emmanuel S
we can’t dispute the fact that First Bank of Nigeria Plc is moving on to a greater level but please include fresh graduate in your recruitment programme. Thanks.
all the comments are nt too bad.But on a serious note fresh graduates should be given better chances to secure jobs.
Pls give fresh graduate opportunity to display there talents.
I JUST WISH FRESH GRADUATES SHOULD BE GIVEN BETTER CHANCES TO APLLY
i am owolabi ademola KUMUYI,WHICH AM OND HOLDER INCOMPUTER SCIENCE,WHICH I BELIEVE AM CAPABLE TO HANDLE ANY DEPARTMENT IN YOUR ORGANISATION,AND I PUT MY HOPE IN THY LORD GOD IF MY CONSIDERATION CAN BE ACCEPT IN YOUR COMPROMISING DECISION,I WILL BE GREAT HAPPY ….BUT I USE BE ON THIS MOBILE NUMBER 2348069345957 AND MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS ADEMOLAKUMUYI@YAHOO.CO.UK
I AM SURPRISED ABOUT THE COMMENTS ABOUT FIRST BANK ON FRESH GRADUATES.
I DON’T WORK WITH FIRST BANK BUT I AM AWARE THAT THEY EMPLOY FRESH GRADUATES ON YEARLY BASIS. WHAT I ADVICE IS TO LOOK OUT FOR THE TIME. ITS MOSTLY IN THE 3RD QUARTER OF THE YEAR. DO VISIT THEIR SITE FREQUENTLY. THIS YEAR WILL NOT BE AN EXCEPTION.
I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST. FOR THE FRESHERS, I ADVICE YOU GET MORE CERTIFICATION LIKE CISA, ACA, ETC IF YOU CAN AFFORD THE FUNDS.
ONCE AGAIN, IT IS WELL.
l dont know what is the problem,l have been trying to submit the already filled form but l was not get your server for the past four days.
Everyone should go back and reread most of the comments here. The reason First Bank should not hire freshers is the lack of experience and inability to construct a simple sentence. Many of the advocates for freshers are giving a dog a bad name. (Please don’t ask what that means!)
I have been waiting to be contacted on qualification.
i just hope First Bank will consider fresh graduates indeed! am currently working wit CELTEL here in Maiduguri but my dream job is to work in the bank, like being busy u know!!!. First Bank should consider us with fresh ideas and initiatives. They really have to migrate to the best!!! i await their reply
How long will it take Oceanic Bank to reply me, if i submit my Cv tommorrow in one of your branch office, Abuja.
Can former staffs of first bank apply?
Have fill the form correctly, hope to hear from you very soon
I CANT WAIT TO GET YOUR POSITIVE RESPOND.
keep it up
