Lafarge Cement is recruitment Graduates for its Management Trainee Scheme.
The scheme is a one year intensive programme, aimed at developing the trainee, using the following curriculum:
Structured classroom training; Attachment to various business functional areas; Cross-functional exposure; Coaching; Mentoring
To qualify for this highly challenging opportunity, the potential candidates will have to meet the following requirements:
Age: Not more than 26 years old by December 2008.
Education: (A) WASC/GCE “O Level with at least Credit in Five Subjects, Including English and mathematics in one sitting.
Bachelors Degree/ Higher National Diploma with at least Second Class Upper Honour/Upper Credit in: Law, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration and any of the Social Sciences

why did ur coy depend on paper sturf. we all know how people get their upper credit/2nd class upper. lafarge group is not helping matter at all.so people that went to study without loobing in school should not apply. i mean lower credit/2nd class lower. u better give it a 2nd thought bcos u will end up recruiting nothing upstair candidate into ur coy. word of advice

There is nothing improper about asking for 1 sitting. Dont be deceived millions of applicants had their SSCE/GCE/NECO/GSCE in one sitting. There is no excuse in failing 2=3 exams if well prepared for it. What would you say about those writiting ACCA or CIPD then comparing that to SSCE…lol.

why are most companies so keen on candidates with 2:1 and above most of the candidates with 2:1 from some institutions lobby to have the so called 2:1. even some with 3rd class do better than those with the 2:1. Please make Nigeria a better place by letting everyone try irrespective of their grades. word of Advice

U guys talking nonsense about people having good results while in school,I see u as nothing but fools.Ee easy to get good grade?where were u then when those guys were reading,doing there assignments and at the end things work fine for them?U!try to remember ur mistakes while in school and ensure that u train ur child to have good grade always!that is ur second chance in life.Dont say bad thing against anybody with good grade again that is why u havent gotten anyj ob uptill now.
We shouldn’t be deceiving ourselve. The youths should know that our country have nothing for us which made these companies bringing fictious requirement that only few of us met. In the right sense, people formulating these laws are those that even had worst results during their days. Take a look at our Politicians especially d Legislators, What are they legislating? when they cannot even address unemployment issue. It is our country that is disappointing us.
Few employed youths by these so called private firms (Blood Suckers) are caged, dehumanized, tortured, enslaved, etc for the sake of survival. I strongly believed in their countries youths are not exposed to these types of treatments.
Go to hell with your job opportunities. We shall all excel. Our usual Prayers: God dey shaaa!!!, it is well, no wahala.

its high time you guys realised that the result one comes out with is not a true reflection of what you have got upstairs as well as ur ability to contribute positively to the growth of an organisation. give everyone a chance to prove themselves.

its really unfortunate that suppossed intellectuals are being corny with the truth.if u proclaim that people wit 2.1 are not sound then how about folks with 2.2.afterall we are all products of the same educational system.if u did nt get a 2.1,it by no means mean u are nt going to get a job.keep ur fingaz crossed ur destined job is on its way.
