      3. on 04 Jul 2008 at 8:48 am3FRANCIS

why should they make it for master degreen only, is that not unfair to people who posses bsc and have academic execellency? well, it is ok.

      4. on 04 Jul 2008 at 8:59 am4Taiwo

THis is great a good opportunity for Nigerians but why is it restricted to master students alone ?there are better candidate who are holding professional certificate such as ICAN,CIS,ACCA etc but have not gotten there master yet.I hope the requirement should be flexed a bit to give room for such candidate.

      5. on 04 Jul 2008 at 9:43 am5tunji4u

no wonder the age limit is to 32

      11. on 04 Jul 2008 at 1:37 pm11Prince Scott

Is not all about having master is all about what you can deliver yes we ll get there some day

      12. on 04 Jul 2008 at 2:13 pm12Uche (Speaker)

Please U guys needn’t be envious of those who have masters, rather it shud be a motivator and challenge for you to develop your self more. Kudos to World Bank.

      13. on 04 Jul 2008 at 2:38 pm13Ayodele

You call it Young Graduate programme and the requirement is at least Masters Holder. Please, I dont understand oo.

      14. on 04 Jul 2008 at 2:50 pm14Chizerem

I must apply even if I have not gotten my masters

      15. on 04 Jul 2008 at 3:17 pm15Ope

Master in other part of the world could be considered but most nigerians go for master to cover up for their poor grade in the university. As for me, master is not in my plans right now!

      16. on 04 Jul 2008 at 3:54 pm16Ade

I think the requirements are fair. I am a fresh graduate and hope to start a masters programme this year. I’m sure there will be another opportunity. Personally, I am motivated by this.

      17. on 04 Jul 2008 at 4:20 pm17majesty

lets me hurry and get my master degree.u should hold on.

      18. on 04 Jul 2008 at 5:50 pm18Xray

Naija people this is an opportunity 4 all but you must be a qualified candidate b4 u can get………any way is good so that u won’t go and currupt them.
Naija do the right thing ooooooo

      19. on 04 Jul 2008 at 6:33 pm19dozzycool

Opportunities like this come and go but are mostly available for people with higher academic qualification. As they say “The higher you go, the cooler it becomes”.There’re rich vacant jobs with few candidates at the top level.

      20. on 04 Jul 2008 at 7:31 pm20Mama

If this is limited to those below age 32, which programme caters for older who have experience in other fields and are now looking for a change in their professional environment or just seeking new challenges?

      21. on 04 Jul 2008 at 8:39 pm21Ismail Hassan

That’s ok but there should be another openings for the Graduates since they are more on ground seeking for jobs

      22. on 05 Jul 2008 at 3:20 am22ovo

        criteria not good enough

      23. on 05 Jul 2008 at 10:08 am23Eben

Quite an opportunuty to grab but for those that match and can prove to have an edge over all other experts and experienced.

      24. on 05 Jul 2008 at 12:05 pm24FAITH

I have a B.SC. IN COMPUTER SCIENCE (second class lower division)
Professional certificates in IT ie MCP AND OCP can i aply?

      25. on 05 Jul 2008 at 12:28 pm25Edward Magnus U.

Some people have some professional management skills much more than the masters degree holders do, so the idea of giving the chance only to masters degree holders is unfair though i know i will get it without my masters degree. God Almighty is on my side.

      26. on 05 Jul 2008 at 12:43 pm26prayo niyi

what’s all this fuss about masters. All the jobs can’t meet your own qualifications now. Let’s show more optimism ok?

      27. on 05 Jul 2008 at 1:15 pm27Adeyemo Adewale

The requirements is satisfactory and fair enough. No room for complaint. So we should not take young graduate as Fresh graduate.

      28. on 05 Jul 2008 at 1:20 pm28Sani

Go get your Ms c and stop making noise

      29. on 05 Jul 2008 at 4:15 pm29Sly

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Wetin I go talk self I no know. They say na degree, I come get am with a second class upper o o. Now they don turn to masters. No be today o oo, we go pursue am get am but make I no go become over age by the time I get the masters. My people I don go bak to class.

      30. on 05 Jul 2008 at 4:43 pm30ronald

Please when are they going to recruit for fresh graduates?. Contact me oooooooooooooo

      31. on 06 Jul 2008 at 4:59 pm31Chinwe

Not everyone can afford a masters degree, there are still so many young and intelligent Nigerians out there without a masters degree.

      32. on 06 Jul 2008 at 6:47 pm32granny

nobody id talking abt HND degree holders, are not graduates too?sme HND GRADS are far better than some BSC holders.well, this is a motivator to get masters degree quickly bofore i turn to metuselah

      33. on 06 Jul 2008 at 7:58 pm33Ohis

Well, i see the requirement of a masters as a motivator. We all should aspire high to get a higher degree. It puts one at an advantage and gives one the needed academic exposure and expertise which enhances our marketability in both the local and global arena. It is all about capacity buiding. We will definitely get there and even better.

      34. on 07 Jul 2008 at 7:18 am34Gerry

If you dont have a good job, you may not afford to pay for msc. Most parents after bsc belives they have done their best. I think they should come down to bsc 2nd class upper.

      35. on 07 Jul 2008 at 8:30 am35helen awopeju

this site is very good, but i have not been successful lately on my job search.

      36. on 07 Jul 2008 at 10:01 am36nnamdi

it must not be only masters degree holders dat can apply, B.sc holders shld also be allowd 2 apply too. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

      37. on 07 Jul 2008 at 12:38 pm37igili A

The age strict age requirement will give room to forgery of birth certificate. Beside, they should specify the number of people needed

      38. on 07 Jul 2008 at 12:49 pm38KRISZUBBY

The age limit is a minus for the World Bank. How many people can get their Masters degree before the age of 32 in this country of ours. So many have the degree but above 32.It’s a pity.

      39. on 07 Jul 2008 at 1:27 pm39filani tolulope

its unfair making the restriction, when will those of us with a BSC or an HND get employed?we should always have it mind that one cannot fly to fly,one can only learn to walk and fly, those who made the rules should remember that they didnt get thier masters degree immediately after the first degree,if all other organisations are making this restrictions then where do people like us get a survival?i think the management should try and have a rethink, ang give room for us.thanks.

      40. on 07 Jul 2008 at 1:38 pm40wale

it is good but i dont think it is supposed 2 be limited 2 masters holder alone but hnd and bsc with good grade

      41. on 07 Jul 2008 at 1:55 pm41KAYODE IBUKUNOLUWA

Is there no chance for OND Holders ?

      42. on 07 Jul 2008 at 2:19 pm42Solomon

Sir, am a young lecturer can I appy?

      43. on 07 Jul 2008 at 2:48 pm43Amakom Stanley

If i may ask is Agricultural Extension Services not needed in your organization.

        Thanks ,
        Stanley Amakom

      44. on 07 Jul 2008 at 2:57 pm44juliana

      46. on 07 Jul 2008 at 4:03 pm46nnabuike onah

The only thing u need is PATIENCE.and PERSEVERE

      52. on 10 Jul 2008 at 1:24 pm52Stephen

Qualifications exclude graduates of Management courses like Public Administration

      53. on 10 Jul 2008 at 1:27 pm53Stephen Olutoba Stephen

Consideration should be given to People who bag PUblic Admin. degrees when recruitiing in Public Organizations like the UN

      54. on 11 Jul 2008 at 3:14 pm54okpor rosemary toju

      60. on 15 Jul 2008 at 9:46 am60Onyinye

Don’t think anyone should feel bad about the masters thing. World bank is not the ultimate. You will get better oportunities that will be better than this. Just believe in yourself and where God can take you to.

      61. on 16 Jul 2008 at 2:30 am61Abdul G9

SALAM, THE NOISE IS TOO MUCH, TO ME IS JUST A MOTIVATION, BETTER STILL HURRY UP AND GET YOUR, FOR THE NEXT OPENINGS

      62. on 16 Jul 2008 at 2:01 pm62felix

I narrowly missed the deadline. Is there any plan to extend it?

      63. on 25 Jul 2008 at 10:41 am63Onoja P.E

its quite unfurtunate that this ‘BSC’ thing is been over blown even though research has shown brilliancy’s noticeable more with holders of HND. I really wish these employers of labour would take thier time to check which is better both Academically and otherwise. If you care to know, I’m an HND holder and it takes the grace of God for any 1 in every 50BSC holder to beat me in my field; i know my ONIONS.
Anyway sha 4 d ‘Masters’ thing, these are attempts at making us attain for d greatest heights; no qualms, keep pushing and we will get there.

      64. on 11 Aug 2008 at 10:52 am64sadan

      65. on 19 Sep 2008 at 7:32 pm65Daniella
