Job at GE Oil & Gas: Careers for an Electronics Engineer

Candidates should possess an Electronics Engineering Degree or Technician; Site experience in control system on O&G products and DCS; Good knowledge of field instrumentation and gas turbine governor philosophy; Design good knowledge of control systems and PLC device

Candidates with 3+ years of site experience in installation and commissioning activities on turbine control system of O&G products, will be an added advantage.

Reponsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support on Control Systems, Instrumentations
  • Auxiliaries to customers, service support, field technicians and site operators
  • Conduct engineering investigation (RCA) to prevent and solve technical problems by using quality and problem solving tools
  • Conduct trouble shooting at site to solve technical problems raised by customer
  • Report business opportunities on a quarterly basis
