Thank God for another opportunity to apply for this again.I’m optimistic that this will work out for me this time.
The required work experience is quite high; let me use this medium to say that performance mainly is not based on experience but on proper understanding of your job and interest derived from what you do—these are what determines performance and not experience.Thank you.

Nigeria is a country where experience and certificate is been respected more your performance and your interest concerning a particular field. Friends is high time we wake up from our shelves and bring performance at the forefront before experience and numerous certifictae that will not creat any impact in the organisation.

Did you guys notice that the requirement is for people with experience in UK, Europe, and US? Nigerian Banks and their unnecessary issues.

I quite appreciate the fact that the positions are of a high calibre requiring wide and international experience. I have come to realise that Accountancy is a profession that is highly guided by standards and principles. These standards/principles prescribe the accepted methods of treating accounting transactions and presenting accounting information.

I have therefore breeded my self to an international standard by getting acquinted to international standards that are followed by international organizations. I obtained my first degree from OxfordBrookes University which is based in London, More so I am in the final stage of completing the ACCA examination. hence I have a good understanding of International community{to be precise U.K} as well as the Local environment because I am qualified as a Chaetered Accountant in Nigeria and also presently working in Nigeria.

In a nutshel, I believe I have the qualities/attributes required to fill the position of Fixed Asset Management. My CV has the more detail.

I am interested in the job. I experience in banking though not in credit but human resources but have knowledge of credit and marketing. I wish I could get an opportunity like this.

You only need to work or school in the U.K or U.S to understand that the average graduate from those places can stand apar with our first class candidates in naija. I’ve seen the best of both world (naija and western world) and if i ave to employ any candidate tomorrow i will always settle for the U.K or U.S trained or certified expert. As nasty as this may sound it is the truth ,our naija system (work and education) needs to be revamped

This is a lesson for us all. Now its international experience/certificate and tommorow it might be Masters degree with experience. Let us try as much as possible to get the best we could at any point in time. Our own time will surely come, lets keep moving.

        fellow nigerians.

I had my 1st degree in Nigeria, worked for some years in the country and left for UK last year for my MBA program specialising in banking and credit risks. To be frank, naija and uk education are of two separate and distinct world. I have been privilege to travel across europe on research, presently writing my dissertation and graduate most likely as the best student. I will advise people who can raise some funds and endure some kind of hardship to follow this trend. this is where u learn the best practice in any field. and i can guarantee u that geting a job afterwards will pay u back ur investment within 5 months
