The BBC World Service Trust in Nigeria is seeking to recruit experienced individuals to join the Peace and Democratic Governance Program Team Which is funded by USAID.
The project aims to address these issues through media development activities which will be designed to boost the capacity of the media partners in the six focal states to serve the public interest through greater editorial and financial independence and professionalism while adhering to international standards of news reporting and programme making, by producing more objective, impartial, accurate, balanced outputs.
The program will also create platforms where government officials and policies are explained and questioned either by on behalf of the audience.
Logistics Officer
Organize all BBC WST related travel arrangements including transportation accommodation e.t.c
Be responsible for protocol matters, including logistical facilitation of outputs, meetings, workshops and conferences among other things
Qualification
* Minimum of 1year working experience in a similar position, preferably in NGO or in a related environment
* Ability to plan organizes and manages several tasks simultaneously
