External Quality Coordinator – FMCG


JOB TITLE: External Quality Coordinator

A highly structured Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company is currently searching for a well experienced and self motivated External Quality Coordinator

 

Purpose of the job

To ensure that the required quality processes and GxP principals are embedded in the co-packer operations and the targeted quality and customer services KPI’s are achieved through management and control of the outputs at co-packers

 

Job requirement

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in FMCG industry preferable dealing with personal care products
  • MSc. Chemistry / MSc. Microbiology or any other related discipline
  • Experience in project management, GxP auditing and process validation
  • A qualification in Quality Management will be an advantage
  • Ensure that GxP standards are adhered to at all times at Co- packers during  processing and handling of company’s products
  • To support and co-ordinate manufacturing trials and tests linked to new products at all co-packers
  • Perform quality audits at all suppliers, warehouses, embellishers and co-packers and to support audits performed by the company QM
  • To perform product audits, of co-packed products to ensure that products are produced to specification and checked to quality control procedures defined by local and global quality assurance
  • Ensure that the company production requirements are satisfactorily met so that there is minimal impact on customer service levels
  • Follows-up and drives corrective and preventative actions at suppliers, warehouses, embellishers and co-packers for all quality
  • Identifying improvement opportunities through product reviews, product audits and co-packer audits
  • Excellent communication skills
